Updates to Google 101 Website Tools Self Paced Course for Teachers
Because Google is moving Google sites from the Classic older view to a newer view available in your Google Drive, the Google 101: Website Tools teacher self paced course has been updated. In this course you will find directions for the Classic version and the New version. If you have already taken the Google 101 self paced course for credit and did not have the opportunity to learn about the new version and your domain has been transitioned to this version, you can find the information by registering for the Google 101: Website Tools module (no cost and no credit) at the teacher training center. This module will have a blue icon which is just the individual module and not the course for credit.
The Google course "Google: Sites" in the Student Personalized Learning System will also be updated soon.
If you have any questions please contact Denise Krefting or Deborah Cleveland.

Students create content in the Student Personalized Learning System
Today we have 2 student guest bloggers. Tyler Spear and Hunter Stumpf represent their teams from Waukee High School’s Aspiring Professional Experiences Program (APEX) who have been working on creating energy content for teachers and students in AEA PD Online's Student Personalized Learning System.

The Waukee APEX (Aspiring Professional Experiences) Next Generation Energy team has collaborated with AEA PD Online and has been hard at work to deliver an informative Hydroelectric Energy Module to share with teachers and students. In this module you will find information that includes detailed descriptions of the basics of hydropower and how to harness it. The module also touches on the requirements for a dam, how the dam is constructed and more.
The Next Generation Energy class of Waukee High School’s Aspiring Professional Experiences Program (APEX) has also produced a Nuclear Energy Module for you to explore. It shares information to students on benefits and downfalls of nuclear energy, components of a reactor, and how nuclear energy is converted to a useful form in electricity which is used to power the community.
